Thursday Night Pick

Atlanta (-1) vs. Ravens
TJ: This should be a good game.  If Time Warner Cable in NYC actually carried NFL Network, I’d enjoy watching it.  What a fucking travesty TWC is.  In every way.  Fuckers . . . OK, so, the game: Atlanta runs the ball well and defends the ball well, and their only two losses are on the road against good teams (Pitt and Philly).  Although they haven’t given up a lot of points on the season, the Ravens gave up 34 to the Bills two weeks ago, so they CAN be had under the right circumstances.  The Ravens are travelling on short rest and Ray Lewis complained about it extensively this week.  I think I like the Falcons here.

DP: Nice little Thursday night match-up. These two teams are both 6-2, but still are slightly-under-the-radar with teams like Pitt, New England, NY Giants, and the New Orleans Saints getting more attention. Atlanta is 4-0 at home, but I still don't think they have a signature win (I consider the win at New Orleans a little fluky). The Ravens have been a little inconsistent, but I will take the tougher AFC tested Ravens to sneak out a road win.
